She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Tyler and Ova Mae Tyler (Ward); and her husband Leon Upton. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Jackson of Stigler, Karen Hoover (Jason) of Clarksville, AR and Steven Welch (Amanda) of Durant; her grandchildren, Kyle, Cole Jackson, Samuel Welch (Aystin), Grace Welch, Morgan Coley, Haley Whitson, Kierstin Hoover and Dawson Hoover; her great grandchild Isabella Jackson; and her sisters, Janie Sellers of Waco, Linda Ford of San Antonio, Judy Billey of Poteau and Annette Patterson of Keota.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the King and Shearwood Funeral Home (808 E Main St, Stigler, OK 74462). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the R. E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel (808 E Main St, Stigler, OK 74462).
