He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Byrum; and his sister Elma Lou Ray. He is survived by: his daughters, Gayladean Marie Byrum of Stigler and Paula Dale Marton (Tony) of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Dale Marton, Brianna Katherine Marton, Jennifer Kenny of Florida and Ian Adair-Parker Marton of Pennsylvania; his great grandchildren, Morgan, Macy and A. J. of Florda; and his sisters, Erma Dean Tankersly of Atoka and Joyce Fern Connelly of New Mexico.
