Though Vernie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Vernie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvis Farley and Viola Farley (Hyatt); her children, Romonia Jean Blunt and Robert "Bobby" James Farley; and also Orville Shaffer.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jessie Copeman of Edmond, OK, Sterlin Farley of Stigler, OK and Janett Miller of Stigler, OK.; and her great grandchildren, Ayla Miller, James Miller and Sophia Miller. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler (204 NE F St, Stigler, OK 74462). A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Blanco Cemetery.
