He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hays and Bertha Hays; and his siblings, Lonnie Ray, Gary, Estel and Helen.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Mark Hays, Tracy Hays (Leeann), Lisa Kinsey (D. J.), Stigler and His; his grandchildren, Curtis Hays (Brooke Caleb Hays) and Kacie Brianna Hays Caitlin; and his siblings, Sue Worsham (Ed), Barbara Nunn, Kathy Raley (Dale), Jerry Hays (Linda), Cliff Hays (Sharon) and Larry Hays (Dena). He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
