She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alvin Lorenzo and Margaret Ethel Thompson (Wright); her daughter Janet Applekamp of Frisco, Texas; her daughter-in-law Kathy Hill of Portland, Oregon; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hummel (Nathanial) of Frisco, Texas, Julie Langford (Andrew) of Portland, Oregon and Joshua Applekamp of Austin, Texas; her great grandchildren, Emma, Carson, Cade Hummel and Benjamin Langford; her husband Carl Hill; and her son Roger Hill.
