She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Rainwater and Flora Mae Rainwater (Freeman); her siblings, Pete, Raymond Rainwater, Ruthie Blackwell and Dorothy Medlock; and her sons-in-law, Allen Duffield and Jerry Starkey.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Varnell; her daughters, Carol Starkey and Brenda Duffield of Benson, Arizona; her children-in-law, Sara Starkey, Steven, Tina Starkey, Christine and Victor Burlison; her great grandchildren, Landon Starkey, Lucas Burlison, Cassidy Burlison and Noah Burlison; and her sisters, Gladys Garner, Lillian Fleetwood, Loreta Kendall, Oline Dulaney and Betty Garner. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
