It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Roye of Stigler, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Lee Roye (Amos) and Henry Louis Roye, Sr.; his daughter Sharon Kay Roye; his siblings, Mildred Roye, Edwin Roye, Claud Roye, Ivan Roye, Henry Roye Jr. and John Roye; his daughter Marlita Joy "Marty" Roye; his stepdaughter Megan Suggs (McQueen); and his great great grandchild Brantley Allison.
He is survived by: his daughter Tina; his mother-in-law Deloris McQueen (Ford); his children, Charles H. "Chuck" Roye (Pat), Katina Roye Peevyhouse (Lonnie Peevyhouse) of Stigler and Kathy Roye of Stigler; his former wife Deloris Roye; his grandchildren, David Roye, Chad Roye, Kimarie Roye of Stigler, Jessica Roye, Alyssa Roye, Kayla Roye of Rose Hill, Holly Wood of Stigler, Kelly Floyd of Krebs, Alexis Heath (Roye) of Stigler, Casey Roye of Stigler and Shayna Malnar (Roye) of Stigler; his great grandchildren, Jacob Allison (Maddison) of Poteau, Adrianna Roye, Morgan Dill of Stigler, Jaiden Crawford of Pawhuska, Riley Calhoun, Jaxon Calhoun of Stigler, Hayley Floyd of Krebs, Ashton Casinger (Trent Casinger) of Stigler, Cannon Reasnor, Caston Reasnor of Stigler, Umika Malnar and Isabel Harvie of Stigler; his great great grandchildren, Aurora Allison of Poteau, Ezra Casinger and Emilee Casinger of Stigler; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Julie Zwirtz (Robin Zwirtz), Sherrie Hamilton (Warren) of Lequire, Kimberly Peevyhouse of Stigler, Loretta Childers (Kyle) of McCloud, Travis Peevyhouse (Danielle) of Stigler, Cassidy Suggs of Stigler, Xavier Zwirtz (Sarah), Alexander Zwirtz, Julian, Lucien, Lola, Maxim, Ivory, Gaius Zwirtz, Jerrod Long (Rainy), Callie Long, Wyatt, Valynn Hamilton, Dylan Clayton (Hallie), Mikayla Hiser (Collyn), Faith, Blair Apple, Kole Childers, Kaydence, Maverick Peevyhouse and Charles; and also, Megan McQueen, Madi, Clay, Kyle and Macey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, numerous other relatives, and a wealth of friends.
Because of concerns about the Covid pandemic, a graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, December 21st, at Sans Bois Cemetery, masks will be mandatory, and social distancing will be observed.
