He is survived by: his parent Thurman Clayton; his daughter Rae Lea Spears of Hoyt, OK; and his brothers, Paul Spears (Hester) of Hoyt, OK, Sam Spears of Stigler, OK and Mickey Spears of Gore. He is also survived by Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
