It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Eakle of Stigler, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Stubblefield and Etta Stubblefield (Terry); her son Dennis Eakle; and her siblings, Jack, Boyd, Dee, Ray Stubblefield, Polly Sasser, Peggy Brown and Mae Floyd.
She is survived by: her husband Burl Eakle; her pet Dumbo; her son Scott Eakle of McAlester; her children-in-law, Rusty, Jill Eakle of Quinton, Amanda and Blake Lynch of McAlester; her great grandchildren, Farren, Gifford, Teddy Lynch, Bayleigh Bates, Caitlin, Mason Glynn, Gunner and Savannah Eakle; and her great great grandchild Gracie Glynn.
