She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Gilpin and Edith Gilpin; her husband Charles Ballard; her son Charles Clinton Ballard Jr.; and her siblings, Kenneth Gilpin and Margaret "Tommie" Brammer.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Ballard (Regina) of Whitefield, Dennis Ballard of Spiro, Charles Ray Ballard of McCurtain, Sheila McDuffie (Steve) of Shady Point and Chrystal Patton (Doyle) of Keota; and her grandchildren, Rodney Bryant of McCurtain, Steven McDuffie III of Poteau, Larissa Patton of Pocola, Sabrina Harris of Keota, Bobby Ballard of McCurtain, Candy Traylor of Bokoshe, Chalona Ballard of Mountainburg, AR., Rocky Ballard, Travis Ballard of Whitefield, Felisha Holman of McAlester, Kasey Long of Kinta, Randall Gould of Panama and Thomas Gould of McCurtain. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
