He was predeceased by: his mother Fern Rankin; his brother Gary Rankin; and his brother-in-law David Horne. He is survived by: his siblings, Eddie Rankin (Joan) and Linda Horne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
