He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Meeks and Stella Meeks; and his siblings, Homer Meeks, Alva "Trig" Meeks, Vida Bates, Viola Hitt, Virgie Gardner and Gladys Owens.
He is survived by: his spouses, Miss Virginia Louise Webb and Virginia Louise Meeks; his children, Jearl W. Meeks (Bessie) of Jenks and Susan Hull of Muskogee; his grandchildren, Jason Adams (Sherry) of Muskogee, Matthew Hull (Misty) of Bixby, Lori Elders (Terry) of Muskogee and Jeff Meeks (Kelly) of Broken Arrow; and his great grandchildren, Brett Adams (Sara), Jake Adams and Kelsey Wood (Tyler). He is also survived by seven children with two brothers and four sisters.
