He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Maxine (Thompson) and Lee Ollie Ritter; his wives, Lavern Barber and Doris Ritter; his son Johnny Bob Gleason; and his siblings, Mary Louise Elam, Cleta Asher, Shirley Ritter, Kelly Joe Kelly and Curtis Ritter.
He is survived by: his daughter Paula Ritter; his close friend Tina Nolen; his siblings, Sylvia Mae Boitel, Annette Brown, Jake Ritter and Raymond Leon Ritter; his grandchildren, Brandi Branscum, Garrett Gleason and Braden Gleason; and his great grandchild Lionel Shelton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
