With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stearl Gist of Spiro, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 28, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Gist (McMurray) and George Gist; his siblings, Gerald Gist and Patsy Sheetz; his stepbrother Loyd Gist; his half-sister Mildred Moore; his nephew Wendell Gist; and his granddaughter Chazi Harvell.
He is survived by: his wife Ms Kay; his children, Sharon Kay Granite (Jack), Tracie Wilkinson (Tony Mounce) and Ricky Gist (Rebekah); his grandchildren, Jace Wilkinson, J. Dalton Wilkinson, Hailey Flanagan (Lonny), Brooklyn Gist, Sheaphan Harvell (Dayna), Whitney Cooper, Jack Jr. and Kaylee Granite; and his nieces and nephews, Derwing Gist (Patsy), Gary Gist (Marie), Jeff Gist (Mary), Allan Gist (Norma), Pam Smith (late Donnie), Irma Moore and Carol Reed (Larry). He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
