He was predeceased by: his father Earnest "June" Stout; and his daughter Brittany McKinney Stout. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Shumate; his children, Shawna Johnson (Justin), Jeanie Lyons (Alex) and Henry Chronister; his grandchildren, Knox, Lilah and Avery; his mother Laura Stout; and his sisters, Nancy Harper (Gary), Janet Hirst (Campbell) and Karen Lawson (Ron). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
