She was predeceased by: her husband Claud "Dale" Cox; her mother Junie Lee Arnold (Gammons); and her siblings, Jimmie Morris, Pauline Williams and Charles Wayne "Sonny" Howerton.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Mize (Leon), Patsy Gist (Derwin), Roy Cox (Pam) and Johnny Cox (Kathy); her brother Troy "Bud" Howerton (Mary); and her grandsons, Darren Mize, BJ Clark, Terry Cox, Chad Cox, Bryon Clark and DJ Gist. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren.
