He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Burke (Holmes) and John Richard Christy Sr.; and his siblings, Barbara Yeakley and Philip Christy. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jane Christy; his daughters, Pam Sivero, Julie McShane (Tim) and Shari Jennings (Larry); and his grandchildren, Dena Miller, Krista Rivera, Corie Coull, Danny Sivero, Brittany Sivero, Tyler McShane, Travis McShane and Trent McShane.
