She was predeceased by: her parents, Fay Chambers (Embrey) and Robert Chambers; her husband Robert Holbrook; her sisters, Mary Wooten and Gayle; her grandson River Rainwater Matlock; and her son-in-law Frank Wideman.
She is survived by: her children, Esther Matlock, Juanita Berry, Melissa Wideman, Allen Holbrook and Charles Holbrook; and her sisters, Ann Smith and Eugenia Bradford. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
