It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Smith of Spiro, Oklahoma, born in Poteau, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Buddy Eugene and Bette Ruth Smith (Caudell). He is survived by: his close friend Karan "Soupie" Harper; his children, Lacey McClain (Wes) of Heavener, Oklahoma., Richard "Bubba" Smith of Heavener, Oklahoma., B. J. Harper (Brandi) of Spiro and Kelly Harper of Spiro, Oklahoma.; his siblings, Carol Gonzalez (Venancio) of Heavener, Debbie Faulkenberry of Talihina, Oklahoma., Tony Smith (Tina) of Panama and Jerry Smith (Diane) of Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Emma, Cooper, Zane, Bella, Nevaeh, Israel McClain, Hallie, Brevon and Braylin Harper Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and host of friends.
