He was predeceased by : his father Earl Benjamin; his wife Margaret Hargis (Davis); his son David Hargis; and his brother Carl Hargis. He is survived by : his mother Ruby Marie Hargis (Adams); his daughters, Cindy Harrison (John) and Crystal Wolfe; his grandchildren and his siblings, Esther Thomas, Verlene Hargis, Betty Riley and Wade Hargis (Jackie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives.
