He is survived by: his father Robert Carter of Spiro, Oklahoma; his wife Tracey Carter; his sons, Garrett Carter and Brent Nichols of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his brother Eric Carter (Joy) of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; his nieces and nephews, Cooper Carter, Scott Bartholomew (Brittany), Melanie Lawson (Justin), Julie Dukes (Richard), Emily Fox (Lindsey), C. J. Farmer (Montana), Delaney Farmer, Joseph Fiori and Alecia Fiori; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hunter Robinson, Christian Dukes, Carson, Emma Bartholomew, Harper, Hudson Lawson, Bryleigh Heaton, Evelyn Fox, Hannah Fox, Evan, Claire Peters, Brandon and Timothy Symonds. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
