She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Hellen; her parents, Bill Dillingham and Macie Dillingham; and her sister Paulette Dillingham. She is survived by: her daughters, Rowen Hellen and Shelby Gilbert; her son-in-law Christopher Gilbert; her granddaughter Macie Gilbert; her sister Debra Ann Dillingham; her brother-in-law Gary Nickels; her nephews, Gaines Duvall (Tiffany) and Gaines Duval III; and her niece Sedona Duvall.
