She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Terry and Martha Terry (Ramsey); her former husband Johnny B. James; and her brothers, Albert Terry, Johnny Terry and JD Terry.
She is survived by: her husband Jesse Brown; her children, Johnny James and Janet Harper; and her sisters, Pauline Thompson, Marcella Carter and Juanita Cockerhan. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
