It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Verla Lea Harvey of Spavinaw, Oklahoma, born in Costa Mesa, California, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Hammontree and Fannie Rose Hammontree (Ornsby); her husband Walter Ray Harvey; and her sons, Roger and Glenn Harvey.
She is survived by: her children, Caren Plumlee (Dallas) of Salina, OK, Donna Harvey of Spavinaw, OK, Paul Harvey (Brenda) of Salina, OK and Christopher Harvey (Christina) of Bixby, OK; her sister Joyce Dapron of Sun City, California.; and her child Debi Post. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Verla's memory to the Salina Senior Citizens Center.
