It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Alexander (Spavinaw, Oklahoma), born in Saturn, Texas, who passed away on May 11, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Alexander and Polly Alexander; her wife Lillian Edna Alexander; and her sisters, Jewel Smith and Doris Burney.
She is survived by: her former wife Lillian Edna Sullivan; her children, Byron Alexander (Helga) of New Braunfels, Keith Alexander of Spavinaw, Rodney Alexander (Shanon) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Penny Edwards (Randy) of Tulsa and Cindy Mann (Tim) of Fort Worth, Texas; and her brother Troy Alexander (Dolores) of Bastrop, Texas. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
