He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempsey Taylor and Maggie Taylor (Stidham); his son Charlie Taylor; his children-in-law, Dexter Davis and Kathy Taylor; his son John Taylor; his grandchildren, Phillip Taylor, Lory Davis, Desiree Davis and Raven Davis; his siblings, C. L. Taylor, Gracie Thronesberry and Dorothy Wakley; and his foster children, Kyle Haines and Andrea Wapasat.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Taylor (Newnam); his children, Roy F Taylor, Jr. of Sparks, Donita Davis of Pink and Bobby Taylor of Oklahoma City; and his siblings, Jerry Taylor of Chandler, Ira Taylor (Sue) of Wellston, Don Taylor (Margret) of Oklahoma City and Bill Taylor of Chandler. He is also survived by grandchildren, (20) great-grandchildren.
