It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha McCurley of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, born in Coffeyville, Kansas, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tosh and Ida Tosh (Sprague); her former husband Jay Dee Evans; and her brothers, John Tosh, Joe Tosh, Charles Tosh, Jimmy Tosh and Steve Tosh.

She is survived by: her husband David McCurley; her children, Pamela Ward, Genia Leroy, John Tackkett (Sonya) and Sonya Tackkett (Larry Shufelt); her stepchildren, David McCurley, Cathe Giannetti, Kerry McCurley and Sharon Sudowski; and her siblings, Kenneth Tosh (Clarence Tosh) and Sharon Felton. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials in Martha's memory to the Kansas Highway Patrol; contributions may be left with or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
