We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2022, at the age of 84, George F. Baker of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, born in Coffeyville, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Leland and Jewell Eva Baker (Martin); his former wife Carol Garner (Dunn); his son Mycale Baker; his grandson Zak Baker; his stepfather Roy Busey; and his brother Jerry Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Claudette Denney; his sons, Vinson Baker (Susie) of Nowata and Dale Baker of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma; his daughter-in-law Barbara Baker of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma; and his sister Patricia Holeman of Coffeyville.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in George's memory to the South Coffeyville Fire Department; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
