He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Dempsey and Minnie Dempsey; his brother Terry Dempsey; and his niece Robyn Dempsey. He is survived by: his children, Karen Gilbert, Kevin Alexander, Matthew Dempsey and Lacy Knox; his siblings, Shirley Holder (Kenneth) of Snyder, Wayne Dempsey (Sue) of Stillwater, Betty Nell Jackson of Flower Mound and Jack Dempsey (Dianna) of Snyder; his sister-in-law LaNita Dempsey of Union City, Oklahoma.; and his grandchildren, Madison, Kelly, Lisa Knox, Nathan Long, Jordan Long, Evelyn Long and Tony Levi Griggs. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family will greet friends Wednesday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home. ***Due to the COVID-19 virus, and out of an abundance of caution and consideration, the family request masks to be worn during visitation and the graveside service*** Tommy Dempsey, 74, Snyder, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 19, 2020 with his brothers and sisters by his side.
