He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maxine Hoover; his children, Gale (Jana), Charlotte (Kevin Jones) and Cheryl (Mike Moses); his grandchildren, Travis Chapman, Jamie, McCoy, Brian Beatty, Brandi, Ryan Wheeler, Nancy Moses and Katy Moses; his great grandchildren, Anna, Dylan, Sara, Jett, Harper and Wilder; and his great great grandchildren, Easton and Braylee.
