With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dovie Mae Ramsey of Snyder, Oklahoma, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Haining and Eula Haining (Jett); her husband William H. "Bill" Ramsey, Jr.; her sisters, Billie Burt and Juanita Young; and her son-in-law Danny Mietchen.
She is survived by: her son William H. "Billy", III; her daughter-in-law Pat Ramsey; her daughter Jana Mietchen; her grandchildren, Matthew (Amy Ramsey), Gina (Travis Smalts) and Jennifer (Court Killion); and her great grandchildren, Kinsey Smalts, Bret Smalts, Macy Burkhalter, Jack, Lily, Ava, Henry, Max, Luke Ramsey, James, Claire and Kate Killion.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home (622 E St, Snyder, OK 73566). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (923 E St, Snyder, OK 73566).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairlawn Cemetery Association, Snyder, Oklahoma or the First Baptist Church Building Fund, Snyder.
