She was predeceased by: her parents, Duke Burris and Luella Weaver Burris; her husband Edward Byron Johnson Sr.; her daughters, Luella Scruggs and Polly Johnson; her son-in-law Prentice Scruggs Sr.; her grandson Reginald Wiley; and her great grandchildren, Lavonte Jackson and Davian Mustiful.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Durrough of Altus; her close friend Patricia Terbush of Altus; and her grandchildren, Richard Jackson, Geoffrey Wiley, Trenda Williams, Camealita Grimes, Sherri Mustiful, Prentice Scruggs Jr., Estelle Osbourne, Toshiba Walker, Porsha Scruggs, Rocellas Johnson, Zuri Johnson and Byron Johnson. She is also survived by friends, nieces, nephews, great and great great grandchildren.
