He is survived by: his wife Karen Norman; his son Quanah Smith (Meghan); his grandchildren, Teaghan, Jentry and Kalie of Snyder; his son Clayton Smith (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Corbin and Caydence of Snyder; and his siblings, Tim Smith (Rita) of Tipton, Felix Smith of Mountain Park, Matt Smith (Terry) of Danbury, Tom Smith of Snyder, Wyonzia Wookey of Frederick, Noel Head of Waynoka and Tatum Smith (Dougie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
