She is survived by: her husband Nelson Samuels; her sons, Alex Vela, Jr. of Temple, TX, Patrick Vela (Frances) of Temple, TX and Valentino Vela of Temple, TX; her stepdaughters, Katie Noahubi of Bethal, OK and Jamie Samuels (Brandon Tollison) of Broken Bow; and her sister Daisy Watson. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
