In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Mary Ellen had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Mary Ellen may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Hull and Ruth Hull (Wildey). She is survived by: her husband John Edward Yox; her son John Damian Yox (Shanna); and her sister Ada Yarbrough. She is also survived by three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel (1000 S Lombard Ln, Skiatook, OK 74070). A rosary will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (109 W 5th St, Skiatook, OK 74070). A Mass will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
