He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Clarence and Edna Lee Cox (Lair); his daughter Cecilia Marie Turner; his grandson Devon Dean; and his brothers, Willie Cox, Virgil Cox, Freddie Cox and William Ray Wallis.
He is survived by: his son Clarence Edward Cox Jr.; and his brother Donald Gene Cox. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
