He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Nix and Mae Adams Nix; his wife Jaqueta Nix (Hunt); and his son-in-law Randy Childers. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Childers of Bethel Acres and Glenna McElhany (Rick) of Shawnee; his grandchildren, Kyle Childers (Loretta), Kris Childers (Amy), Jessica Schoeling (Doug) and Steven McElhany (Ariana Ochoa); and his great grandchildren, Kole Childers, Kai Childers, Konner Childers, Kapri Childers, Tatum Schoeling and Reed Schoeling. He is also survived by loving extended family and friends.
