Thomas David Edie Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas David Edie (Tecumseh, Oklahoma), who passed away on April 18, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edie and Jeanne Edie (Blevins); his sister Vickie Orth; and his son Ronald Edie. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Edie (Harvey); his children, Faith Edie-Schoonover (Todd) of Choctaw, Jennifer Fonseca (Steve Burke) of Ithaca, Roxanna Beggs (Robert) of Bethel Acres, Dani Turner (Kevin) of Bethel Acres, Crystal Bowie (Keith) of Tecumseh and David Warta (Beverly) of Tecumseh, Oklahoma.; and his siblings, Roxie Gilpin (Richard) and Mike Edie (Carolyn). He is also survived by grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (210 W Walnut St, Tecumseh, OK 74873). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sharon Baptist Church (19002 S Gordon Cooper Dr, Shawnee, OK 74801). A burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the Hopewell Cemetery.
