He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Bob and Waltraud Elliott (Trudy); his wife Karen Lynch; his son Jacob; his daughter-in-law Jessica Elliott; and his brothers, Robert and Jeff Elliott. He was also cherished by three grandchildren.
