Robert Lee Atkinson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Atkinson of Shawnee, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Atkinson and Helen Atkinson (Hoover); his brother Ralph Edward Atkinson; and his siblings-in-law, Ona Dean Atkinson and Wesley Potts.
He is survived by: his wife Bette Atkinson; his daughters, Debbie Dye (Terry) of Shawnee and Terrie Ledinski (David) of Shawnee; his grandchildren, Austin Ledinski (Sadie) of Seminole, Amanda Ledinski of Shawnee, Emily Ledinski of Shawnee and Shelby Dye of Tecumseh; his brother Raymond Atkinson of Shawnee; and his sister-in-law Mae Potts of Shawnee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (210 W Walnut St, Tecumseh, OK 74873). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Resthaven Memorial Park (16006 S Rock Creek Rd, Shawnee, OK 74801).
