He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Grandpa McElroy (Grandma McElroy), Grandpa Creed (Grandma Creed) and Grandpa Yousey (Grandma Yousey). He is survived by: his parents, Tambra Walker (Yousey) and Randall Lee McElroy Sr.; his wife Robyn McElroy (Blochowiak); his stepchildren, Harrison Brown and Kathryn Bass; his grandchildren, Kyndall, Easton and Keaton; and his siblings, Jason McElroy (Makenzie), Bradley LaChappell (Emma), Brittney Chouteau (Billy), Lewis Green and Jason Brown. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Because Rudy had such a love for his job, in lieu of plants and flowers, the family has asked for goods donations (no monetary donations please) to be dropped off at the Shawnee Animal.
