It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy June Rooker (Shawnee, Oklahoma), born in Macomb, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 11, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Burden and Dorothy Burden (Waldron). She is survived by: her husband Howard Lee Rooker; her children, Jeff Rooker (Jan) of Little Rock, AR and Kim Rooker Lambeth (Clint) of King City, MO; her grandchildren, Greg Lambeth of Lebanon, MO, Matt Lambeth (Kaedyn) of McAlester, OK and Olivia Rooker Welhoff (Cole) of Overland Park, KS.; and her siblings, Romona Copeland of Oklahoma City, OK and Rick Burden (Gypsie) of Prairie Grove, AR. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and her church family and friends.
