He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmus Gerome and Myrtle Mae Jackson; his wife Jacqueline Ann Lipe; his siblings, Sonny Lipe, Mary Lou Powell and Helen Carpenter; his daughter Ramona Scrutchins; his son-in-law Dino Ainesworth; and his granddaughter Laura Adcock.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Art Scrutchins of Shawnee, Oklahoma; and his children, Belinda Hobbs of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Mark Lipe (Cheryl Lipe) of Arcadia, Oklahoma, Lisa Lipe-Gillaspy-McMakin (Matt McMackin) of Edmond, Oklahoma, Laura Stepp (Kaleb Stepp) of Bowie, Texas, Leslie Ainesworth of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Marcie Meeks (Mark Meeks) of Seminole, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins.
