He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie McLaughlin and JoAnn Lahee (Armstrong); his grandmother Phyllis Jean Anderson; his stepgrandfather Johnnie Anderson; and his grandparents, Shimako Wiley and Lloyd Armstrong.
He is survived by: his children, Marissa McLaughlin and Leland McLaughlin; his wife Sally Evelyn McLaughlin (Lindsey); his son-in-law Ryan Walls of Fort Worth; his children, Lloyd McLaughlin II and Samara McLaughlin; his siblings, Johnnie McLaughlin of Shawnee and Tamara Dawn Hoffman (Ben Hoffman) of Eureka; and his grandson Leon Issac Walls. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
