With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lewis George Snake of Shawnee, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lewis George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lewis George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Snake and Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Sales (Middleton); his wife Marion "Kay" Hensley; and his grandson Taylor "Lew" Lewis. He is survived by: his children, Danny (Terrie Sullivan), Raymond Sullivan, Barry (Pam Snake), Gerald Snake, Brandi (Charles "Chuck" Lewis), Stewart (Tyann Snake), Amber Snake (Scott Roden), Julia (Jimmy Horn) and Yolanda (Chris Cullison). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
