He was predeceased by: his parents, Merril Middleswarth and Evelyn Middleswarth (Sutherland); his former wife Margaret Smith; his daughter Donnetta Winkle; and his brother Terry Middleswarth.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Middleswarth; his children, Robert Paul Middleswarth (Cathy Armstrong), Jeffery Wayne (Monique Middleswarth), Stephanie Louise (Bobby Lanning), Angela Marie Mankin and Edith (Jermey Winkle); and his children-in-law, Nancy Nam and Jeremy Winkle. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
