He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walter "Ted" Gibson and Iva Jewell Gibson (Rogers); and his siblings, George Dalton, Bob, Paul Gibson, Freda Hight and Emma Ball.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Gibson; his children, Jared (Kelly Gibson), Jason (Maria Gibson) and Jennifer Allison (Scott Allison) of Houston, Texas.; his grandchildren, Sasha Norton, Justin Lee, Trent Lee, Stephanie Wilkinson, Kelsie Gibson and Kaitlynn Gibson; his son-in-law Scott; his grandson J. Paul; his great-nephews, Matthew and Jeremy Davis of Sallisaw; and his close friends, Dwight Davis, Randy Dickinson, Eric Talbot, Jerry Rogers, Larry Hight, Dwight Hight, Mark Hight, Keith Gibson, Greg Gibson, Ted Gibson, Roger Crisco and Randy Chappa. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
