He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Campbell and Audry Campbell (Davison). He is survived by: his wife Debra Campbell; his children, Carol Valdez, Jeremy Barrett (Erin), Gary Campbell Jr. (Amy) and Angie Matye (John); his brothers, Terry Campbell (Teresa), Billy Campbell (Debbie) and Roger Campbell (Kenna); his sister-in-law Gwen Kirkpatrick (Dennis); and his mother-in-law Doris Phillips. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
