He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Novotny and Jewel Novotny (Janota); his siblings, Betty Ann Novotny, Dorothy Kroos, Jane McGill, Jim Novotny and John Novotny; and his grandson Brian Crawford.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Novotny of Meeker; his children, Anna Crawford (Kenneth) of Shawnee, Kay Pruitt (Jon) of Shawnee and Michael Frank Novotny (Leslie) of Newalla; his grandchildren, Brad Crawford (MaryKathryn), Bryce Crawford, Ashley Chastain (Dustin), Megan Pruitt, MacKenzie Bernier (Camryn), Joey Novotny and Jessica Novotny; and his siblings, Louise Wilkerson, Nancy Cagle, Jean Quary and Don Novotny. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walker Funeral & Cremation Service (201 E 45th St, Shawnee, OK 74804). A wake was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 6:30 PM at the St. Benedict Catholic Church (632 N Kickapoo Ave, Shawnee, OK 74801). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at the Calvary Cemetery.
