It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ferrell Eugene Fletcher of Shawnee, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil E. Fletcher and Anna Mae Fletcher (Jobe); his in-laws, Arnold J. Sr. and Zelva Leah'Pat'Anderson; his grandson Nathan Cosby; his sisters, Alice Fay Smith and Frances Dodson; his siblings-in-law, Kay Anderson Jenks, Carlisle Jenks, Russell Dodson, David Usher, Daris Smith and Larry Fortenberry; his nephews, Neal Anderson, Russell Dodson Jr. and Michael Smith; and also Asamie Opal Marley.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Fletcher (Anderson); his children, Leah Ann Cole (Jason) of Barnsdall and Arnold E. "Gene" Fletcher (Melissa) of Elk City; his grandson J. Cayde (Molly Fletcher) of North Carolina; his siblings, Elizabeth Usher of Bentonville, Nancy Switzer (Dwayne) of Weatherford, Brenda Kaye Johnson of Elk City, Arlene Lord (Don) of Yukon, Kathy Gibson (Walter) of Mustang, Larry D. Fletcher (Mary) of Fredericksburg, Ervin'John' Fletcher (JoAnn) of Alma, Keith Fletcher of Cromwell, James Fletcher (Sue) of Cordell and Jack; and his sister-in-law Lana Anderson of Tecumseh, Oklahoma.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
